Good morning all of you today I here to summarise the chapter Madam rides the bus written by Vallikannan. This is a short description of an eight year old girl Valli's first bus journey to the world outside her village. She was always very curious about knowing things. The outside world for her was very charming , Fascinating but mysterious. Her favorite pastime was to stand at her doorway and look at the bus that pass her village everyday. This gave birth to a desire to have a ride on the bus. She decided to experience it by herself and picked up some detail about bus journey from regularly bus users. She herself paid the fare and got into the bus trip without anyone's help. She devoured natural seens and got overjoyed when saw a cow running in front of the bus with tail rising in the air. On returning she saw the same cow lying dead on road. That seen haunted her very much and gave her a touch of sadness. She was trying to understand the meaning of life and death in her own terms. In the meantime she reached home but there no one was able to know about her trip.
