pastoralists are people who move from one place to another in search of pastures and grazing grounds for their cattle. They migrate to a place where they find pasture for their cattle. For example, the Gujjar Bakarwals of Jammu and Kashmir migrated to this region in the nineteenth century in search of pastures for their animals.
