functions of axon and dendron?

Your friends have answered correctly

Dendrites are the short fibres which branch out from the cell body. These fibres transmit nerve impulse towards the cell body.

The axon is a long fibre. It transmits nerve impulse away from the cell body to neuro-muscular junction.

thumbs up plzzzzzzz..............

axon sends information from to nerve terminals  and dendrites pass to the cell body

  • -2

axon receives the information from cell body  and sends passes it away from the neuron. while the dendrite receives the information from the adjacent cell's axon with the help of neurotransmitter, eg acetylcholine, dopamine, and brings it towards the neuron.
