Vitamin A

  • Vitamin A is well known for its vision-preserving properties. It guards against age-related vision problems and diseases such as macular degeneration and night blindness. It also regulates oil production in the skin, keeping it soft, clear and youthful.

B Vitamins

  • B Vitamins contribute to the production of red blood cells and are responsible for creating energy to help people live normal and productive lives. There are many B vitamins, but they all complement each other and work best when taken together. The different B vitamins include B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12 (cobalamin).

  •

Vitamin C

  • Vitamin C promotes a healthy immune system and helps the body fight off infection and illness. Vitamin C prevents cell oxidation and also produces collagen, the connective tissue that gives skin its elasticity. Vitamin C is easily found in foods such as colorful fruits, berries and vegetables. However, if there is enough vitamin C in your diet, additional supplementation could cause stomach upset and diarrhea.

Vitamin D

  • Vitamin D helps with the body's absorption of calcium to strengthen bones and teeth. Vitamin D has also shown to contribute to joint health. Vitamin D combined with calcium daily can prevent the debilitating diseases osteoporosis and arthritis. A lack of sufficient vitamin D can also lead to hair loss.

Vitamin E

  • Vitamin E lubricates cell membranes and contributes to a healthy heart and lungs. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that boosts cell regeneration and blocks harmful free-radical damage from prematurely aging the body. It is well known for its skin benefits and can be taken to prevent age spots and wrinkles or the pure oil can be applied directly to the skin as an anti-aging treatment.

Vitamin K

Vitamin K assists in the blood's ability to clot normally. It does this by regulating normal clotting levels within the body. When used topically as a cream, vitamin K helps to eliminate dark under-eye circles and bruising.

Hope it helps...
