Give a brief note about gall bladder? Explain the structure also?

Dear Student.
Please find below the solution to the asked query.

Gall bladder lies just below the liver and it stores the bile juice released from the liver when it is not needed. The bile juice is then released from the gall bladder to the duodenum of small intestine for the digestion of fats.

Gall bladder is a small pouch about the size of a small pear. It measures about 3.1 inches in length and 1.6 inches in diameter , when distended. It has three parts: fundus, body, and neck. Fundus is rounded in structure and faces the front of the body. Body is in contact with the liver and neck is in continuous with the cystic duct.
