Here I am providing you my opinion for the question . If I would have been to an Earth Summit representing my country I would have stood for pollution reduction or reduction of green house gases . I think that pollution and as a result global warming is the most pressing matter of concern for us . Environmental degradation will not only lead to loss of biodiversity but also eventual destruction of the planet . Food scarcity , rise of temperature , rise of water level are all consequences of pollution . Green house gases like carbon dioxide , methane , ozone etc are released from industries , automobiles , electronic items etc . These gases accelerate the process of global warming . Hence in the Summit I would stand up for this cause and suggest some means to reduce pollution . Such as treatment of industrial smoke , solar energy run vehicles etc .
