GIVE REASON.
1. IT IS MUST TO KNOW THE BLOOD GROUP OF BOTH THE DONOR AND THE RECIPIENT BEFORE TRANSFUSING BLOOD.
2. BLOOD FLOWS IN ARTERIES UNDER PRESSURE.
3. THE LEFT VENTRICLE OF THE HEART HAS A THICKER WALL THAN THE RIGHT VENTRICLE.

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

2. As the
arteries carry blood away from heart and veins bring blood towards the heart. The heart directly pumps blood with high pressure in the arteries. Also, there are no valves in the arteries Therefore, blood flows at relatively high speed and under pressure in arteries than in veins

3. Left Ventricle has to pump blood to the whole body
via the aorta with high pressure. In comparison, the right ventricle has to pump blood to the lungs for purification, which is a much smaller distance and hence does not need that much force.
