Climate has a very profound effect on different living organisms. Some organisms are active at one temperature but inactive at other temperature. Living organisms adapt themselves with different climatic conditions prevailing in a particular area. For example, Polar bears have thick insulating fur to prevent the heat loss from the body, to protect from extreme cold. Plants also have adaptations according to the climatic conditions, such as leaves are reduced into spine to prevent transpiration in desert plants.
