Natural fibres are-
- Eco friendly.
- Porous, which absorbs liquids easily. We sweat a lot in summers. Cotton is a porous fibre, which has many pores, and absorb sweat easily.
- Comfortable in all seasons.
- Not prone to burning off completely. When it burns, it burns at a moderate speed, giving enough time to put out the fire and save yourself. Also, in some natural fibres such as silk, if you remove the source of fire, it will stop burning. The residue left is powdery/crispy, and can be disposed easily. It does not stick to the skin.
Synthetic fibres are-
- Non-eco friendly.
- Impermeable, which means liquids cannot pass through it. It doesn't soak liquids either. That means if you sweat... it will not be soaked and you get a big stink coming out of your body. Gross!
- May be uncomfortable in some seasons.
- Burns off completely at a high speed. You won't be getting enough time to save yourself and put out the fire. Also, the residue left behind on burning is hard, and at first it is... slimy and gooey. It sticks to the skin. And if you try to peel off the residue from your skin... you skin will get peeled out as well. *shivers*
