1)Sprinkler irrigation is practiced in Arid regions because in sprinkler system the cultivated land can get necessary amount of water although if there is water scarcity in Arid areas as there is more evaporation due to heat water is mostly not available so the sprinkler system as setup will help in cultivation of crops without problems like drought as the sprayers set near root nodules release water slowly drop by drop so it does not get wasted .
2)A tubewell should be constructed or installed in a fertile and productive region because
?cost of construction and operation of tubewells could be recovered
? perennial water supply for the crops that helps them to live in various climatic conditions
