Give scientific reasons :-

1) To create 'static electricity' generally non-conducting substances are used.

2) Generally weighing balance in grocer's shop is kept hanging.

3) There are veins in the leaf.

1-Whenever there is a contact or separation between two surfaces and at least one of the surfaces has a high resistance to electrical current, static charge is produced. Thus, it is said that static electricity is generally created by non conductive substances or insulators.
This type of electricity is produced due to an unbalance of the molecular construction of relatively non-conductive insulators such as plastics, paper, glass, ceramics and other non conductive materials.
2-In the grocery shop, hanging scale is used so that we can weigh many items, from small goods up to big containers or sacks.  The purpose to use the hanging scale is a supermarket where the goods have to be paid by weight.
3-Veins are the vessels or tube like structures on the leaf that help to transport minerals, water and food across the leaf cells.
