Glucose and AA are absorbed actively, passively or through facilitated diffusion in alimentary canal? According to new NCERT it has been mentioned under all these 3...how to make correct choice if only single option is correct?

Dear student
Carbohydrates including Glucose molecules (except fructose which are transported via facilitated diffusion) and amino acid are transported via Co-transport with Sodium ions. It is a secondary Active transport.
Co-transport uses the movement of one molecule through the membrane from higher to lower concentration to power the movement of another from lower to higher.

So there will be a another option secondary Active transport or Co-transport.
