Guys can you please help me for about these questions Q5 ( article writing )

Dear Student,
Save Water- are we doing enough?

Water is an important necessity of life for all the living beings on the earth. Without water, no one can exist even for a day. As we know that there is a very little percentage of drinking water available on the earth, so we
should not waste clean water and save it for
future generations.

By 2050, India will be amongst the countries that will face acute water shortages. India is one of the countries worldwide facing a huge level of water scarcity today. Places like Rajasthan and some parts of Gujarat are facing water shortage where women cover a long distance barefoot to just get a pot of water. In some cities like Bangalore, the groundwater level is so low that people have to buy water at elevated prices. We Indians encounter even more problems during the summer. Recently it has been studied that around 25% of the urban population in India lacks the availability of clean and drinking water.

There are several methods we can pursue to preserve clean water to deal with water scarcity. Rainwater harvesting is one of the most effective and suitable methods among water-saving techniques. Afforestation is also the best method as it reduces the soil runoff and replenishes the groundwater. It promotes underground water conservation. By practising such methods we can conserve more water naturally and assure the availability for future generations. We should teach simple methods to save water, like turning off all the taps tightly after use, using sprinklers for crop irrigation, using rainwater collection techniques. We need to realize that if we don't work in this field today then we will have to repent in the future.
