Hello Julia, for the first one OL is the perpendicular bisector of  AB
AB = 10 cm. So AL = 5 cm
OL = 12 cm
In right triangle O A^2 = AL^2 + OL^2 = 5^2 + 12^2 = 13^2
So radius OA = 13 cm
For second one, OQ = 10/2 = 5 cm
As PQ = 1 cm, then OP = 5 - 1 = 4 cm
In right triangle, OR = 5 cm, OP = 4 cm
So RP^2 = OR^2 - OP^2 = 5^2 - 4^2 = 3^2
Thus RP = 3 cm
Hence RS = 2 * RP = 2 * 3 = 6 cm
