Dear Student,

In today's fast paced world, it's almost impossible to imagine our day-to-day life without mobile-phones. It's one of the most successful inventions of the 20th century. Although it has a lot of benefits, our growing dependence on smart phones can be a dangerous sign. Immoderate use of smart phones may cause many health problems like headaches, decreased attention span, mood swings, sleep disorders and even depression. It's a sad reality that nowadays many people; especially the youth, prefer interacting through the phone rather than indulging in direct conversations. They like to spend hours scrolling through their feed, without a care in the world. The youth is obsessed with following their favourite celebrities which can lead to a feeling of inadequacy and isolation. Thus, we should always remember that addiction to smart phones can be risky so it should be used very wisely.
