Main Organs of UN 

The United Nations Security Council
 - This organ has primary responsibility under the UN Charter to maintain international peace and security. There are five permanent members (the UK, USA, Russia, China, and France) and a number of non-permanent members. Each of the permanent members has a right of veto. 

The United Nations General Assembly - This body consists of representatives from every member-state of the UN, and each country has one vote each. It is the UN 's main deliberative body, and offers recommendations in the form of UNGA Resolutions.
