This is Aravind Venkat. I am a student of class XI Tamil Nadu State Board. I studied CBSE from class I till class X. I have not felt any difficulties while studying in my previous classes. But this year I feel very difficult in concentrating on the subjects. I am not able to concentrate properly in the class. I have a lot of distractions from friends side. I am not able to manage them. Also I face a lot of distractions in home by unwanted wastage of time by sitting with laptop and mobile. I could not overcome any of these distractions. One advantage is that I can understand the concepts well. I am not able to use it properly. I don't study regularly. I touch my books only during my examination time. I have subscribed for IIT JEE 1 year course in meritnation and I also have another State board package. I don't find it easy to cope up with this class. Please give me some tips to improve on my side.
As a student I can relate to what you say. I'd advise you to plan your time out. Segregate your play time from study time and work hard to stick to it.
One thing which helps me study is keeping in mind my future. If we dont study now, play time will not save us! So, divide your time. These are the last years we can study to live a decent life and earn well. Fun can wait for a while :)
