what is net divisible profit and how is it calculated

Net Divisible Profit implies the amount which is left after adjusting items such as interest on capital, interest on drawings, salary, commission, etc. It is the balancing figure on the debit side of the Profit and Loss Appropriation Account (when Debit side < Credit Side of P&L Approp. A/c). This profit is distributed among the partners and hence is transferred to the credit side of the Partners' Capital Accounts in their profit sharing ratio.
