Hi my expert (pritam_2) the answer you gave for my question is wrong although I am not satisfied
Why because I asked whe he attacked kalinga no what happened to him he gave up war pls again answer for my glquestion

Dear Student,

Ashoka captured Kalinga because it was his fathers (Bindusara's) dream to conquer Kalinga because his grandfather has failed to conquer that. Also Ashokas empire had conquered all ports in India except the one in Kalinga so Ashoka wanted to conquer that port too. Ashoka attacked Kalinga in order to further expand the Mauryan empire.

Regards.
