Hii experts ..pls read the following activity ans give the explantaion of A part ..in the book only the explanation of B and C part is given ..pls write the explantaion of A part .that why does it happened ?

The Candle is to be burnt in a non airy space so that the flame of the candle is seen such that the three regions are clearly seen into it.
A glass tube is to be held with the help of pair of tongs and one end of the glass tube is to be inserted in the darker region of the flame of the candle.
Near the other end of the glass tube bring a matchstick which is already being lighted and observe if the flame of the matchstick increase.
If it does, that means the darker region of the candle contained a flameable gas that passed through the glass tube and increased the flame of the match stick.
