Hii experts ..pls tell the following sent are transitive or intransitive ..also tell the reason behind the ans ..1) they were Norwegians 2) he became a pilot.(3) i consider the std honest.

1. The verb were is intransitive. It does not act upon an object
2. The verb became is intransitive. It does not perform an action on an object.
3. The verb honest does not take an object. So it is intransitive.
