how brain drain affects the human capital formation?

Dear Student,
Brain drain: Migration of highly skilled labour termed as brain drain slow down the process of human capital formation in an economy.
People migrate from one place to another in search of better job opportunities and handsome salaries. This puts a serious threat to the process of  human capital formation. It leads to loss of quality people like doctors, engineers, etc who are rare in developing countries. The cost of such loss of quality human capital is very high.
