How can we save water and fuels

Dear student.

Saving Water
  1. Turn off the water while you brush your teeth or shave.
  2. Repair any plumbing leaks.
  3. Water plants early in the day so more water soaks into the soil; at midday, you will lose a lot of water to evaporation.
  4. Wash only full loads of laundry and full dishwashers.
  5. Use rain water harvesting system to conserve rain water.
Saving fuel:
1.  Travelling by public transport, doing 'car pools' to commute to work, walking and cycling short distances can help save fuel.
2.  Switching off the engine at red signal saves fuel.
3.  Government has joined hands to promote fossil fuel conservation through the Energy Star program--a program in which appliances must meet strict energy efficiency guidelines. When buying new appliances for our home, we should look for appliances bearing the Energy Star label.

Regards.

check all faucets pipe and toilets for leak.
never use your toilet as a waste basket.
Install water saving shower head and ultra low flush toilets.
                              first is water  up
                                  fuel
The slower and steadier you are the more fuel you  save. keep the reus down and down shift if you slow down rather  than forcing the engine to perform at higher gears. You can save a lot of fuel by making sure your tires are properly inflated
