1.stones can be separated from rice simply by Hand-picking because the size of stone is big enough to be separated by hand.
2. Husk can be separated from rice by winnowing . In winnowing the husk and rice mixture is kept on a plate or a winnow and then allowed to fall from a height the husk being lighter will fly away with the wind while rice being heavier will fall to the ground.
