How did early human beings learn to grow crops and rear animals?

They didn't learn them. When wants and need approached lives, they had to think of solutions. Everybody's thinking was diverse which lead to growth of societies, so diverse thinking resulted in beings thinking of solutions to solve situations which approached them. It also lead to inventions like the wheel and transport.
