How did franz feel during the last lesson?
Dear student,
In the last lesson Franz remembers how he wasted his time by loitering about in different places other than the school. He either roamed about in search of bird’s egg or went sliding on the Saar. He felt that his books were nuisance. As he detested the books he was slothful while carrying them. He repented for not learning the French lessons properly. He was sad because his books which were once a yoke to him now seemed to be old friends whom he would miss terribly.
