how did Gulliver's desire to see the sea help him in his escape from Brobdingnag?

Gulliver had been at Brobdingnag for long and so he wanted to go back. It so happened that when Gulliver was on a trip to the seashore, a giant eagle picked up his traveling box and flew off with him. Realizing later that the box was not edible, the eagle dropped it into the sea. After some time the box was picked up by a passing ship that had people of normal proportions. They took out Gulliver from the box and he reached England. Thus, his desire to see the sea helped him in his escape from Brobdingnag.
