HOW DID INFRASTRUCTURE DEVOLOP DURING BRITISH RULE ??

It was important for the British to establish a tight control over India so as to exploit its resources to the fullest. Administering the country efficiently also required the building of several other infrastructure. The Railways were developed to conduct trading efficiently, so was the shipping sector. Telegraph innovation helped the  British to bring the entire country together by the transmission of information.  The development of cities such as Delhi witnessed the destruction of several old structures and construction mammoth structures like the Parliament complex in the Risina Hill.
