The Mehrgarh emerge as a centre of chalcolithic age because in Mehrgarh found burial sites are small in number with objects like a stone axe lapis lazuli, limestone and sandstone . Burial goods included ornaments during this period. The ornaments were made of copper bronze e.t.c.
