how did the farmer's daughter take care of gulliver

Dear student,

The farmer’s daughter takes good care of Gulliver; she cares for him like a child would care for her favourite doll. She puts him to sleep in her cradle, and puts the cradle safely in a drawer to protect him from rats. She stitched clothes for him and also taught him the native language. She grew fond of Gulliver and called him Glumdalclitch, which means nurse.
