How did the office staff help the 8 members in the annexe and make life better for them

Dear student,

Mr. Kugler, Mr. Kleiman, Miep, Bep Voskuijl; the four people working in Otto Frank’s office were extremely helpful towards the people in the annex. Miep and Bep looked after the daily necessities, and Mr. Kugler and Mr. Klieman looked after the safety of the people and the finances while the people were hiding.

Mr. Kleiman and Miep, and Bep Voskuijl have been helpful in buying and bringing stocks of canned rhubarb, strawberries and cherries. And since the people in the annex were getting bored they got them a supply of reading material. Every other week Mr. Kleiman brought for Anne a couple of books written for girls her age. The office staff also helped buy school books for the children in the attic; they bought a large supply of notebooks, pencils, erasers and labels from home. Miep went forth nearly every day to scrounge up vegetables, and then bicycled back with her purchases in large shopping bags. She would also bring five library books with her every Saturday.

So, this is how the office staff helped the people living in the annex.

Regards
