how did they built tajmahal without the usage of cement

The workers built Taj Mahal with the help of marbles. Yeah building such a palace was definitely a work of art and it took too much time to build it and the builders carried burden by building it with marble but they were getting paid for it too well. Alas those workes got their hands cut by Shah Jahan because they should not build a palace like this for anyne else and for the cutting of the hands he gave a huge bounty of monies to their families
