How did Virginia help the ghost in his emancipation? Explain.

According to an ancient poem, Virginia has to pray to the Angel of Death, to take pity on the Ghost. She has to weep for his crimes, because the Ghost has no tears. She has to pray for the Ghost, because she is pure of heart and he isn't. Only with such prayers and tears can the Ghost receive redemption. Virginia braved all her fears and did pray for the Ghost, so that the Angel took pity on him. In this manner she ensured that the Ghost was emancipated.
