eg. if we want to hold a charity event, we must first advertise it so that more people get to know about it and participate in it. Thus, advertising creates awareness among the citizens

the advertisements help in creating new consumers in the following manners :
1)it makes them aware about the quality ,cost and durability of the product
2)it is an easy means to generate awareness because TV, newspapers are mostly watched and read respectively by almost each and everyone !!!!

Advertising has played an important role in making us aware of our responsibility towards the society. Eg:a documentary flim by the minister of social welfare shows that girls are as capable of acieving sucees in their chosen fileds as the boys are,when given the opportunity. It motivates the people to send their daughters to schools.
