how do flowers reward their insect pollinators?

majority of insect pollinated flowers are large,colorful, fragmented and rich in nector. the flowers are clustered into an inflorescence to make them conspicious. to sustain insects visits the flower have to provide reward to insect. nector and pollen grains are the usual rewards.
