how do the rays of the sun go daigonal into the hole of the pinhole camera?

The image is formed on the plate of the pinhole camera when the light reflected from an object enters into the hole of the pinhole camera. All kind of rays reflected from the tree enter into the hole of the camera and forms the image on the plate of the camera.
