How do the sky gets color?

Dear student
The color of the sky is blue during the day because of our atmosphere.

At day time the sun rays are less slanting and are nearly vertical to a place. The white light from the sun is scattered by the atmosphere. Since, blue light has the shortest wavelength it is scattered the most. Thus the sky appears blue. However, the part of blue color that is not scattered along with the rest of the colors reach the earth as white light.

Dear Vaidik Kesarwani ,

As sunlight reaches our atmosphere, molecules in the air scatter the bluer light but let the red light pass through. Scientists call this Rayleigh scattering. When the Sun is high in the?sky, it appears its true?colour: white.
