how do wild animals are connected to human beings in a food cycle

A food chain is a linear sequence of organisms in which each organism is eaten by the next member in he sequence. Thus interaction among organisms involves the transfer of energy from one organism to another.
example; Grass is eaten by rabbit, and rabbit is eaten by humans. Here plants are producers, which are eaten by herbivores(rabbit), herbivores are eaten by carnivores(lion,fox) and ultimately some carbivores are eaten by humans for eg meat of many animals is eaten by humans in different parts of world. In this way , humans are consumers of wild animals.
