How does acid rain affect
? crop
?limestone/marble/cement structures
?iron bridges etc?

1. Crop: Acid rain leaches aluminum from the soil. Acid rain also removes minerals and nutrients from the soil that trees need to grow.
2. Limestone/marble/Cement structures: Acids have a corrosive effect on limestone or marble buildings or sculptures. It is well established that either wet or dry deposition of sulfur dioxide significantly increases the rate of corrosion on limestone, sandstone, and marble.
3. Same for iron bridges...increases corrosion rate
