how does the postman appreciate Lencho

Postman's first reaction after reading Lencho's letter was that of laughter because during all the years of his service he had never seen a letter addressed to God but after a while he stopped laughing as he was moved by the kind of faith that Lencho had in God. He then along with his fellow postmen collected 70 pesos and sent it to Lencho as a gift from God. This was his way of appreciating Lencho's faith.
