How does time have magnitude? How is it a scaler quatity?
Dear Student,
A scalar quantity is having magnitude only and no direction.A vector quantity is having both magnitude and direction.
Time is a scalar quantity.
t =120s
Here time is having magnitude only and is of 120.We do not use - /+ signs to express 120 secods.Time is always positive and cannot be negative.That is why it is a scalar quantity.
Regards.
