Excess addition of fertilizers and chemicals disturb the balance between macro and micronutrients and also affects the microbial health. Excess fertilizers or chemicals in the water also affects the aquatic life and make the water unusable for the mankind because consumption of these chemicals can cause serious diseases in the human beings like gastric cancer, goitre, birth malformations, hypertension, testicular cancer and stomach cancer.

Fertilizers harm the soil by making it porous.Excess fertilizers get washed into water bodies and harms the aquatic animals.
