How Hydorgen is obtained from different types of electroylsis?

- Electrolysis is the method of separating elements by passing electric current.
- Hydrogen is obtained by using water.This reaction takes place in a unit cell.
- Water reacts at the anode to form oxygen and positively charged hydrogen ion.
- Then the electrons flow from an external circuit and hydrogen ion moves across to cathode.
- At cathode, hydrogen ions combine with electron from the external circuit to form H2 gas.
