the dry cell can also be named as the primary cell. it cannot be recharched once it is used. but a automobile battery is different, because it is rechargable.

A dry cell consist of only one cell but an automobile battery consists of many cells. A dry cell produce less electricity than an automobile battery. Dry cell can not be used again once it's chemicals used up but automobile batteries can be charged and used again. Dry cell also known as primary and automobile batteries as secondary cells. Dry cell used in torches ,clocks,radios etc but heavy automobile batteries used in vehicles.
