How is a solution of sugar in water different from a solution of starch in water with respect to:
a.Tynddall effect b.Filterability c.Scattering of Light  In a Form of table

Dear student

Sugar in water is a true solution, while starch in water is a Colloidal solution
Also a) Tyndal effect and c) Scattering of light refer to the same thing.

Effect Sugar solution Starch solution
1. Tyndall effect Does not scatter light, hence does not show Tyndall effect. Shows Tyndall effect due to scattering of light
2.Filterability Sugar solution passes through ordinary filter paper as well as animal membrane. Passes through ordinary filter paper but not through semipermeable membrane.
