how is the quality of air affected and how does this change in quality affect us and other life forms?

Quality of air is affected by the increasing level of air pollution and change in the composition of air. Air pollutants can be harmful gases from industries, exhausts from vehicles, burning of coal and fossil fuels, burning of plastics, releases of CFC's from refrigerants etc.

This change in quality of air will harm us in following ways:-

• cause breathing problems, suffocation, chest pain, headache

• increase the risk of lung cancer

• decrease the lung function

• sudden change in climate

• decreases the level of oxygen in water bodies

• increase the number of mortality in animals due to suffocation etc.
