HOW MANY TYPES OF MIXTURES SRE THERE?
Mixtures can be classified into two types:
(a) Homogeneous mixtures
A mixture is said to be homogeneous if its constituents are uniformly distributed and are not physically distinct. For example, salt in water, salt in water etc.
(b) Heterogeneous mixtures
A mixture is said to be heterogeneous if its constituents are not uniformly distributed and are physically distinct. Mixture of sand in water and soil in water are examples of heterogeneous mixtures.
