The time duration or interval between 8:00 O'clock and 10:30 O'clock is 2.5 hours or 2 hours 30 minutes.
Now, in 1 hour, minute hand turns a complete angle i.e. 360°=(4x90°)= 4 right angles
Hence, in 2.5 hours, the minute hand moves=(4x2.5) right angles=10 right angles
