How to differentiate between OFF and Multiplication in solving sums using BODMAS formula?

Answer :

We know :  BODMAS rule , we solve in that order

B → Brackets first (parentheses)

O → Of (orders i.e. Powers and Square Roots, Cube Roots, etc.)

DM → Division and Multiplication (start from left to right)

AS → Addition and Subtraction (start from left to right)

SO,

If we have :  42 × 2  , SO we get by BODMAS

16 × 2

= 32  , So first we solve ( OF ) than multiplication .

Or If we have :

153 +  32 × 4  , Now we get from BODMAS

= 153 +  9 ×

= 5 +  9 ×

= 5 + 36

= 41

OF IS USED AT THE FIRST IN THE BODMAS RULE. BUT, MULTIPLICATION IS AT THIRD IN THE RULE.

If the question has fraction and multiplication how should we differentiate when to use OF and when to use multiplication....its still not clear to me
