how to find LCM in polynomial

For LCM of two polynomials we factories the polynomials and the find another polynomial which has all the factors of both the polynomials.
For example :- p(x) : x² + 3x + 2 = (x+2)(x+1)
q(x) : x² + 4x + 4 = (x+2)²
Therefore , the LCM l(x) = (x+2)²(x+1)
l(x) include both all the factors of both of the polynomial.
